- top floor also removable to see inside RV

Geisel library it is!
Assigning Initial Roles
Whole Team: meet at Geisel Library on 4/14/2023 to look at it, take pictures, and learn about it so we can build it
-
Each person will be assigned a section of the library.
- Nick: First and second floor east
- Larry: First and second floor west
- Barry: Third and Fourth floors
- Harry: Fifth and Sixth floors
- Gary: Seventh and Eighth floors
- Try to learn about your entire section if possible, including employee only areas, if you can get permission to go there
4/15/2023: We will all meet and diagram how we will build the library. We must make sure our designs are consistent with each other!!!
Once diagram is completed (due by 4/20/2023):
- Nick, Larry, Harry: Determine what/how many pieces we need to build it
- Barry, Garry: Take stock of how many of each Lego piece we have so we know what to order; make sure Legos we have are sorted/organized
- Larry: Submit idea for competition
- All: Decide what pieces we need to order and order them. Make sure we don't go over budget.
Comments, Questions, Concerns
Things that Came Up During Meeting
Where will the competition be held?
The competition will be held at Newbury Park High School. The address is:
456 N. Reino Rd.
Newbury Park, CA 91320
How will we transport the Lego model there?
We will build the model in modules that can be taken apart and put back together. That way, we can put the modules into individual boxes, load them onto the vehicle, and drive them over, hopefully without them breaking.
Are we going to build the employees only areas of Geisel too?
We will try to if we can. When we go to Geisel to look at it, we will ask for permission to look at the employee only areas. If we are not allowed in there, we can either not build those areas at all or make up what we think is back there.
Additional Questions/Comments/Concerns
